JOB DESCRIPTION - FINANCE MANAGER
Role objectives:
- To ensure that the Finance tasks, detailed below, are completed to a high standard
- To work closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Director in establishing a best in class finance function
Key responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for monthly financial accounting
- Preparing month end pack which includes:
o Management Accounts
o Board Report
o Analysis of business performance
- Leading year end audit process
- Regulatory reporting including PSD and MLAR returns
- Production of daily bank covenant reporting
- Managing day to day treasury operations
- Preparation and submission of tax returns
- Ad-hoc project work to support business strategy
- Supervision of Accounts Assistant
Experience and qualifications:
- An ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified accountant, or newly qualified.
- Financial Services experience (particularly lending company experience) desirable
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a finance role
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Knowledge of an accounting software package
