Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 pa

We are currently working with a well respected Accountancy practices based near Dartford, who are looking to hire an experienced Accountant for a Senior Accountant position, they are looking for a hard work individual who is self motivated and who has at least 3 years of Accountancy practices experience.

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

Preparation and review of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited Companies
Preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, rental portfolios and individuals.
Preparation of Corporation Tax returns for companies
Preparation, review and submission of VAT returns
Ad hoc projects as they arise, to include HMRC Let Property Campaign disclosures, Inheritance Tax reviews etc.
Assist in the merger of our two practices

To be concidered for this opportunity you will need:

To have at least 3 years of Accountancy practice experience
To be a self-starter
To be able to implement and consistently improve on best practice within the firm
To be willing to play an active role in helping to develop and implement a strategic plan
To be able to deliver systems training to staff and clients, when necessary.
To be able to use their own judgment and excel at problem-solving
