The ideal candidate will have varied general practice experience including experience of undertaking Audit assignments on a variety of clients. Experience of leading audits would be advantageous.
The role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work and you will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of industry sectors.
Duties & Responsibilities
Act as an advisor to owner managed businesses on a range of accounts and business issues
Leading of audit assignments (from planning through to conclusion) for significant audit engagements including supervision of staff and client management
Review work prepared, ensuring quality in compliance with professional standards/requirements
Monitor budget and understand commercial aspects involved such as billings and collections
Reporting to the manager/partner in charge
Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of client types and sizes
Preparation of business/corporate taxation computations and returns, dealing with some routine associated tax queries
Skills
ACA / ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified
